The Portland Jazz Orchestra featuring the Fryeburg Academy Jazz Ensemble, Jan. 18th
The Portland Jazz Orchestra welcomes it’s first high school guest band of the year with the Fryeburg Academy Big Band Two big bands in one night! PJO is excited to kick off 2024 with it’s outreach to high school bands and welcome the returning Fryeburg Academy Jazz Ensemble. Fryeburg has appeared in the past with PJO and always brings a great group of musicians and set of music. PJO Tenor Saxophonist, Mike Sakash, leads this great group and will once again showcase these fine students (future jazzers in Maine) on January 18th, 2024. We hope you can come and join us on January 18th, with two great bands, Fryeburg Academy and your Portland Jazz Orchestra
